Yaiza organizes the Children’s and Family Days to commemorate International Children’s Day

Yaiza City Council has organized for November 23 a broad program of recreational and educational activities to commemorate the International Children’s Day (November 20) remembering and reflecting on the fundamental rights that children attend.

Yaiza proposes in this twenty-first edition of the Children and Family Days workshops and scenic shows in schools and the IES Yaiza with themes inherent to the objectives of the same, drawing contest called between schoolchildren and two interesting presentations for parents , mothers and families on school dropout and digital leisure taught by two experts in the field of proven experience and worth within and outside the academic field.

The activities began at the end of October with the pictorial representations of the Yaiza schoolchildren on children’s rights participating in the Drawing Contest that traditionally accompanies each of the editions of the Conference. This year the jury must select nine winners from among the 719 works submitted by children and primary school students from the five public centers of the municipality.

Shows like ‘The box of the circus’ or ‘Jerry the Magician’ will tour the nursery and primary schools in the morning between November 18 and 22, while high school boys and girls of the IES Yaiza are called to participate in workshops of urban dances.
