Ferrán Adriá will give a conference in Lanzarote on innovation in the kitchen
The Plenary Hall of the Cabildo of Lanzarote hosted a meeting between the first institution of the island and a wide representation of restaurateurs, winemakers, cheese makers and other artisan producers of the island, to address details and developments in the organization and celebration of the Festival Enogastronomic Saborea Lanzarote 2019 that will take place at the Villa de Teguise on November 23 and 24.
In that meeting, it was advanced that on September 13, the renowned chef Ferrán Adriá, considered the best chef in the world, will be in Lanzarote to offer a presentation on innovation in the kitchen and restaurant management.
The meeting presented the new strategies and policies that are being developed to promote this consolidated wine and wine festival that perfectly combines the promotion of the local product of the sea and the land, with sustainability, the culture of heritage and our territory.
In this new edition, we want to make an important leap in quality, which is why the Ministry has opted for the mainstreaming of all the areas involved, such as Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, Economic and Tourism Promotion. The high economic and promotional impact this festival has had, especially in its latest edition, position Lanzarote as an important international gastronomic destination.
In this way, the intention was advanced to incorporate new spaces such as the Wine and Sea Classrooms and a Gastroludoteca, where the little ones can play and learn to cook and eat healthy.
As in previous years, the Festival will have the support of Saborea Spain, which turns 10 years old, and together with this seal of quality and guarantee, different destinations in our country will participate with their own exhibitor and, for the first time, there will be a guest country , in which in this case it will be Portugal and, specifically, the Lisbon cuisine.
