Yaiza prepares two days of activities to celebrate the Canary Islands Day

The Municipality of Yaiza has arranged two days of commemorative events of the Canary Islands Day. These will take place on Wednesday 29 and Thursday 30 where attendees await folkloric performances, an institutional act and exhibition of Canarian struggle.

The Plaza de los Remedios de Yaiza will host on Wednesday the 29th, at 8:00 p.m., an evening of enameling, dancing and partying animated by Los Salineros de La Hoya, Parranda Janubio and Raíces.

On Thursday 30th, Canary Islands Day, the activity moves to the tourist resort of Playa Blanca where at 10:00 a.m. the institutional event on Calle Limones is scheduled with the accompaniment of the Municipal Band.

The Rubicón Folkloric Association will then act a few meters away, on the promenade, at the small beach of the town, where children and young people of the School of Canarian Wrestling will also perform an exhibition of the vernacular sport.
