Tinajo chooses the winning images of its III Photo Contest

On January 15, a jury formed by professionals from the photography business, failed the III Photographic Contest of Tinajo. The winner of this third edition is José Rubén Morales Rodríguez, for his image “Light in the dark”, a snapshot that portrays the surroundings of the church of Nuestra Señora de Regla in La Vegueta. The second prize was for Ismael Merchán Torres with the image “The volcanic bomb”, an image that includes an original perspective of the volcano in the area of ​​Tinguatón.

The jury highlighted the level of the images presented, coinciding this year with the largest participation of the three editions held, opting for a total of 62 photographs.

We remind that these images will become part of the documentary archive of Tinajo City Council in order to have useful resources in future publications and campaigns of the municipality.

Award ceremony and opening of the exhibition

The award ceremony will be this Monday, January 28, at 7:00 p.m. in the Municipal Theater of Tinajo. In the same act the exhibition will be opened and will show all the works received in the contest. The exhibition can be visited in the hall of the Municipal Theater during the whole month of February
