The Playa Blanca Solidarity Race will raise funds for people with Asperger’s syndrome

This Sunday, December 30, the traditional Solidarity Race of Playa Blanca will be held at the end of the year. The promenade of the tourist town will be the place chosen for the race.

This time the solidarity event will be held in favor of the social missions developed by the Asperger Canary Islands (Aspercan) and Creciendo Yaiza associations. The registration has a value of 10 euros. Each enrollee will receive a T-shirt.

The junior / adult category proposes a distance of 5 kilometers with departure and arrival on the seafront at Playa Dorada and shorter distances of 2.2 km for children (10 to 13 years); 500 meters for pre-children (5 to 9 years) and 200 meters for children under 5 years of age. The sporting event is Sunday December 30 at 10:00 in the morning.

Creciendo Yaiza serves children and young people with special educational needs fighting for a much more inclusive and tolerant society and Aspercan, among other objectives, defends the rights of people with Asperger Syndrome and their families, promoting early diagnosis, as well as treatment , education, personal development and full social and labor integration. The Solidarity Race is organized by the Hotel Princesa Yaiza and the City of Yaiza with the collaboration of a group of sponsoring firms and volunteers.
