The Ironman 70.3 Lanzarote seeks the role of the youngest

On October 5, Playa Blanca hosts a new edition of Ironman 70.3 Lanzarote, an essential event for sports lovers on the island. In addition to the adult version, the tourist town of Playa Blanca also reserves an outstanding day for younger athletes during the afternoon of Friday, October 4 at the beach and surroundings of Playa Dorada, where from 5:00 p.m. they are Swimming and running tests are planned for children and young people between the ages of 7 and 17.

Young people from 15 to 17 years old will swim 400 meters in Playa Dorada and then face 1,400 meters of running on foot along the promenade. Boys and girls aged 13 and 14 have the challenge of 300 meters of swimming and 1,000 meters of running; boys and girls aged 11 and 12, 200 meters of swimming and 550 meters of running; boys and girls aged 9 and 10, 100 swimming and 450 meters running; while children 7 and 8 years old, 50 meters of swimming and 440 meters of running race.

The test constitutes a tourist and economic reef for Lanzarote. For the test of October 5 more than 900 athletes of different nationalities are already registered. The registration period for Ironman Kidz expires on September 27 and those interested can check the information at this link.
