The german guitarist, Torsten de Winkel, will dialogate musically with Benito Cabrera to tribute Manrique
The César Manrique Foundation (FCM) organizes a musical dialogue between the Canarian musician Benito Cabrera and the renowned German guitarist Torsten de Winkel next Friday, February 7, at 8:00 p.m., in the José Saramago room of La Plazuela (Arrecife) ). This activity is part of the centenary program of the birth of the artist that the institution that bears his name will continue to celebrate until April 24, 2020.
Admission to the show is free, but for reasons of limited capacity people interested in attending must previously withdraw the invitation. A maximum of two per person will be delivered. The invitations can be collected between Tuesday 28 and Friday 31 January (until they are sold out) at the headquarters of the FCM, in Taro de Tahíche, from 09:00 to 15:00 hours.
This musical dialogue is the third and last that, at the request of the FCM, has been directed by Benito Cabrera on the occasion of the centenary of the birth of César Manrique. In the first meeting, Cabrera spoke with the dancer Jep Meléndez, while in the second he did it with the singer-songwriter Pedro Guerra.
