The ‘Crossroads’ section will put the Canarian accent at the 8th Lanzarote Film Festival this afternoon

The eighth edition of the Lanzarote Film Festival follows the path marked in previous years and gives a preponderant space to the work done by Canarian filmmakers.

The section “Crossroads: Canarian filmmakers”, is held this Monday, November 26, at 7:30 pm, at the Civic Center of Playa Honda, with free admission until full capacity. At the event the filmmakers themselves will present their work and dialogue with the public.

The short films that can be seen will be: Dua2litet, a path to the exploration of the subconscious by Rafael Montezuma; the relationship of man with the nature of In those lands, directed by Nayra Sanz Fuentes; The other beds, or the importance of affection in the improvement of people relationships, by Jonay García; The colors of the snow, an essay on identity, sexuality and gender directed by Cris Noda; the shadows that occur in the forest at nightfall reflected in Nocturnes by Miguel A. Mejías; David Pantaleon shows Scipio the African in The Elephants of Scipio, who, refusing to get his hands on the beasts, surrendered them because of hunger; Emilia Sacristán Figuereo visits the island of Fogo in Cabo Verde to meet the inhabitants who had decided to continue living in the foothills of the volcano and portray it in Tierra Quemada.
