The 8th Enogastronomic Festival of Lanzarote ready for this weekend

In Canary Islands, Events, Gastronomy, News, Suggestions

Next 24th and 25th of November will be the eighth edition of the Food and Wine Festival of Lanzarote which aims to recognize, outside our borders, our enogastronomy, putting value on the local product, authentic and original, as a differentiating element of Lanzarote as tourist destination

This creates a space where the professionals of the island, along with others from the Canary Islands and the peninsula, share with tourists and residents, cutting-edge gastronomic proposals and concepts, where the local product is the protagonist. In this way, producers, artisans, agroindustries and wineries present their products, making known their know-how and the gastronomic culture of the island.

Complete program of activities

Aula del gusto:  Where we can attend lectures by chefs of known international prestige such as Paco Perez with five Michelin stars, Diego Guerrero with two, Pepe Solla with one, as well as other great national chefs and regional.

Aula Saborea Lanzarote:  Here some chefs members of the Lanzarote Cocina collective carry out cooking workshops, more focused on the local product.

Aula Chinijo Chef:  It is the space for the little ones, where children from 6 to 14 years old experience and have fun in the world of cooking. And we will have the presence of Aina Roglan, contestant of Master Chef Spain.

Casa del Producto Canario:  At the Timple Museum, in the heart of Teguise, activities are developed that promote the consumption and knowledge of the gastronomic jewels of the Canary Islands. This space is divided into Gastronomic Classroom, Cheese Classroom and Wine Classroom.

Flavors from outside the island

In the corner called Saborea Canarias, there will be a total of 9 restaurants from the rest of the islands which will perform showcooking and will taste a careful selection of their cuisine, from traditional recipes to more innovative ones.

This year, Saborea España will again participate. There will be four destinations that go to the festival to show their cuisine and the quality of their products: Taste Cambrils, Savor Seville, Saborea Trujillo, Savor Vinaros, Savor Tenerife, Taste Lanzarote and Savor Gran Canaria.
