The 1st Canarian Literature Fair of Lazarote was a success

This weekend the 1st Edition of the Canarian Literature Fair of Lanzarote took place. There were four days full of literary activities where publishers and writers from the archipelago traveled to Lanzarote to present their latest news.

Assistants of all ages approached the stalls located in the central floor of the Deiland shopping center. There he was able to acquire signed works and discover new Canarian authors who traveled from Tenerife, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and La Palma.

Twenty writers were those who presented their work for four days: Santiago Gil, Carlos Gonzalez Sosa, Ismael Lozano Latorre, Miguel Aguerralde, Mayte Pozo, Concha de Ganzo, Miguel Angel Galindo or Iván Cabrera among many others and editorials such as Creative Formula, Editorial seven islands and La Palma Editions.

In parallel, workshops were held with different activities for all audiences: from the creation of watercolor bookmarks to a pen, recycling and bookfolding workshop. Finally, at the closing of the fair the winner of the micro fiction contest was revealed. This was Yoel Ley who was given a batch of books and a gift voucher to devote to buying books.
