Maceo Parker and Judith Hill will offer their jazz twice this Friday in Lanzarote
As is tradition, excellent female and male voices, the best instrumentalists of the genre, emerging formations, consolidated artists and local groups are part of the 28th edition of the Canary International Jazz & Más Heineken Festival, which in this edition will feature Maceo Parker as the main star .
The Festival lands in Lanzarote, with the help of Maceo Parker and Judith Hill, on July 19 with a double session in which attendees can enjoy both jazz in all its facets: the most academic with a well-defined playlist; and the most entropic where musicians should only let their feelings flow through the instruments and their voices.
The first of the performances will flood the four walls that surround the Plaza de El Almacén on Friday, July 19 at 8:30 p.m. Then the musicians will go to the Pool Bar of the Gran Hotel to participate in a jam session framed within the festival itself, but organized by the Isla y Ritmo Association. For this session, the entry is also free, but it is essential to withdraw an invitation through this link.
Maceo Parker is an indispensable piece of modern music, without which it would be impossible to define terms like Funk or Groove. Judith Hill is one of the great voices of Soul in the US having been praised by Rolling Stone for her “stellar voice power”. Everything indicates that it will be a night of passion for lovers of good concerts in Lanzarote.
