Literature made by women invaded the Charco de San Ginés

El Charco Reading Club celebrated its Open V Encuentro last Saturday for all the reading fans of the island. On this occasion, the session was devoted to literature made by women and its motto was ‘Letras en femenino’.

The writers appearing were the one based in Tenerife, Ruth Utande and the locals Mayte Pozo, Ico Toledo and Elsa Déniz. During the event, they presented their latest works and chatted with the audience about reading, writing and any other questions presented by the attendees.

The event held in ‘La caja de tapas’ in the Charco de San Ginés recorded, as in previous occasions, a large influx of public. During the same year, the “Book Wheel” was also held again, exchange of copies among the assistants of all ages, in order to encourage reading, the main objective of the association.
