Lanzarote artist Rut Cavero wins the Isora Art Prize

The Lanzarote artist, Rut Cavero, has won the XXI edition of the Isora Art Prize thanks to her sculptural work ‘Penca I’. The prize consists of a cash allocation of 1,200 euros.

The first prize was also awarded to the painter Ariam Lázaro for his work of acrylic on titala methacrylate ‘The forbidden fruit of human Eden’. Also ‘Espacio Inerte’, by Conrado Díaz (painting) and ‘Cumbre’, by José María Marfil (sculpture), obtained a special mention from the jury.

If you visit the municipality of Guía de Isora, the exhibition, with a total of 28 selected works, can be visited until September 28 from Monday to Friday from 18 to 21 hours in the afternoon and Sundays from 11 to 14 and from 18 to 21 hours.
