Juggling in Haría to start the year

The twelfth edition of the International Circus Festival ‘MalabHaría’ will take place on Lanzarote from next December 29 and until January 4.

On this occasion, the festival will commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Contemporary Circus with a selection of circus shows and a special program loaded with high-level activities.

In addition to the performances, in the ‘MalabHaría’ of this edition there is room for the lecture on the history of the circus given by the master Javi Jiménez or an exhibition of old circus posters from private hands.

Wide presence of international companies

Renowned artists such as DanyZoo, the Spanish dancer who arrives from the Circo del Sol; the Russian Ikin Dmitry and his impossible techniques with the balls; the canary Pablo Rada and his own style on the mast; Antonio Vargas in verticals; the Voël Company from Russia; the Brazilian Iara Gueller with her aerial acrobatics on the lyre, or the Belgian Tripotes. And to close the festival the public can enjoy with the comedian Pepe Viyuela.

Tickets to attend the shows to be held in the Municipal Pavilion will be purchased at 5 euros at the City Council from December 3 and at the Young Christmas Trail, which will be installed in the square of Haría, 3 and January 4.
