‘Fernando Higueras. From the origin ‘- Exhibition

The exhibition ‘Fernando Higueras. From the origin ‘of the architect Fernando Higueras (Madrid, 1930-2008) brings us closer to the work of this iconoclast, visionary, painter, musician and photographer, dazzling genius, who has bequeathed us a way of doing in architecture collected in the history of the Spanish architecture, with essential work for the Canary Islands and especially for Lanzarote.

From his relationship with Manrique, projects such as Las Salinas Hotel (1973) emerged, being cataloged in 1998 as an Artistic and Cultural Heritage of the island of Lanzarote, and his project for urbanization of Lanzarote is located in the MoMA Museum of Modern Art, New York .

The inauguration will be on October 18 at 8:00 p.m. It can be visited at MIAC until next January 7, 2020.
