On Wednesday, January 30, a new exhibition will be inaugurated at the CIC El Almacén. In this case, the show ‘Falls’ by the artist Raquel Plans will open the exhibition season of 2019 in the dependent cultural center of the Cabildo de Lanzarote.

Raquel Plans is a professor at the Pancho Lasso School of Art. Through illustrations, micro-stories and sculptural pieces Plans talks about the concept of fall, understood as a personal situation related to the loss of stability or emotional control.

The creator explained how the exhibition arose from several pieces already made and from new ones that she was creating, realizing that they were “very narrative”. Plans had not drawn for 20 years but that new way of creating led him to use literature, illustrations and sculptural pieces in the same exhibition.

‘Falls’ opens tomorrow, Wednesday, January 30, at 8:30 pm, at the CIC El Almacén. The entrance will be free and free. The exhibition can be seen until next March 23.
