A work by Banksy appears in Titerroy*

 In Main News

The famous balloon girl, from the street artist Banksy, has appeared in one of the streets of the neighborhood of Titerroy in Arrecife. Specifically on José Pereyra Galviaty street, in front of the Cruz Díaz supermarket.

In a last communication in the blog that he keeps on his website, the artist from Bristol explained that from now on he was going to bring his work to outermost regions “to put them on the map and denounce the problems of people who can not stand the rhythm of life of the first world “.

The choice of Titerroy by Banksy can show the criticism of the author to the ineffectiveness of the local administrations that has reflected so much in his other stencils all over the world.

From Palestine to New York, passing through Sydney or Berlin, Banksy has been able to stir consciences with just his drawings. Now Lanzarote has a Banksy and who knows if in these days more works will appear on this island or in the rest of the Canary Islands.

Meanwhile, although many conjectures have been made, it is still unknown his true identity.
