Travel, increasingly, no longer an experience of relaxation and forgetting the route. Many people also want to know the identity of the destination they are traveling to obtain a complete experience.

To connect with these travelers on the island, Turismo Lanzarote has created ‘Humans of Lanzarote’: a project of twelve episodes that aims to get visitors to know the island from another perspective, introducing them into society, traditions and culture.

In each chapter they will be presented to different people of the island, who will open the doors of their lives, allowing them to discover the destination through their personal stories and where visitors can stop to listen to the heartbeat of Lanzarote.

In the first installment you can already meet Lourdes, a rabbit hutch that has developed most of her life in the village of Soo, working in the store she inherited from her mother-in-law: “The Lourdes store”. From very small, he helped his father in the field and that is why now he admires the sacrifice that entails, so he does not hesitate to market in his small shop with all kinds of products harvested and made on the island.
