The possibility of a museum ‘is an exhibition that aims to build a renewed conception of the museum space through the work of Lanzarote artists Daniel Jordán, Francho, Iván Vilella, Moneiba Lemes & José Otero, Nicolás Laiz, the Parto Cerebral collective, “Pillimpo “and Yuri Fontes. From an absurd and dystopian story, in which local artists occupy the museum of their province and turn it into a great variety show, the exhibition analyzes, from fiction, the current museum context and imagines a new reality that responds to the needs that are to come around the concept of museum. More than an exhibition or a collective exhibition to use, The possibility of a museum is a multi-band collaboration between different artistic agents that build a renewed conception of the museum space from the creation of multidisciplinary dialogues, combining painting, sculpture, projections, performances, conferences and live performances.
