Muestra de Cine de Lanzarote 2019

The Lanzarote Film Show (# LaMuestra2019) will celebrate its ninth edition from November 22 to 30. In total, 25 films distributed in its five sections can be seen: “Official Section”, “Trasfoco: la sal”, “Crossroads: Canarian filmmakers”, “Distillery. Any time passed” and “Maguas”.

The seven “Official Section” films will compete for the Jury Prize, with € 2,000. These same films will also compete for the Young Jury Prize. They are: Movements of a Nearby Mountain (2019) by Sebastian Brameshuber, Present.Perfect (2019) by Shengze Zhu, MS Slavic 7 by Sofia Bohdanowicz, On va tout péter (2019) by Lech Kowalski, Bird Islands (2019) by Sérgio Da Costa and Maya Kosa, Longa noite (2019) by Eloy Enciso and Heimat is a Space in Time, by Thomas Heise. In all of them a critical and conflicting analysis is presented with the real conditions of the present and of the history of the 20th century.
