Concert of ‘Caramelo de Cuba’ Trio + José Gola + Raúl Pinedo

On January 17 and 18 at 10 p.m., the Island and Rhythm Association offers us two evenings of authentic luxury to enjoy the best music in Lanzarote.

On this occasion several musicians of the highest level will appear at the Pool Bar of the Grand Hotel. The first one is Javier Massó, one of the most prestigious Latin-jazz pianites in today’s music world. He is best known for his nickname, “Caramelo de Cuba”, which was given to him by Enrique Morente, a great companion and friend and musician with whom he played countless times. Throughout his cart he has also worked with artists such as Celia Cruz, Jerry Gonzalez, Paco de Lucia, or Diego “El Cigala”.

Accompanying him on stage will be bassist José Gola, one of the most international bassists. He has participated in the main jazz festivals in the world. Raúl Pineda will also join one of the most demanded batteries worldwide. Percussion master, with overwhelming quality.
