‘ALMACÉN 1974’ exhibition

When in 1974 César Manrique, together with Pepe Dámaso, Luis Ibáñez and Gerardo Fontes, started up the “Centro Polidimensional El Almacén”, nobody could imagine that this unprecedented and innovative artistic initiative was going to mark the future of the cultural panorama of Lanzarote. This exhibition project addresses what meant that El Almacén became a catalyst and backbone for the local artistic fabric. This project, framed in the programming of activities of Manrique 100, will be curated by Alejandro Krawietz, Mario Ferrer and Pepe Betancort.

Dates: from March 29 to May 4, 2019
Hours: Monday to Friday, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
