The pre-registration period for the Insular Center of Musical Education is open

As of next March 18 and until April 23, the deadline for submitting pre-inscriptions for access to the Insular School of Musical Teaching of Lanzarote (CIEM) for the next academic year will be open.

All those interested in receiving a musical training, over 4 years, may choose to access the different courses taught at the School of Music. For access by those who do not have previous musical knowledge, a public drawing will be held next Wednesday, May 8, at 6:00 pm in the CIEM’s Assembly Hall.

On the other hand, applicants who have access to previous musical knowledge will be able to take an entrance exam, since it is not allowed to enroll in the two entrance modalities. The minimum age for this modality will be 8 years.

The CIEM offers a wide range of specialties such as: Music and Movement, Violin, Viola, Violoncello, Double Bass, Singing, Electric Bass, Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Horn, Trombone, Euphonium, Percussion, Timple, Piano and Guitar. Also, since the last year, the subject of Music and Movement has been taught since the age of 5 years.

Applications for pre-registration for this 2019/20 academic year may be submitted to the CIEM administration office from March 18 to April 23, 2019 (both inclusive), from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and Monday and Thursday from 4 to 8 pm, enclosing a photocopy of the interested party’s DNI.
