On Saturday, July 27, at 9:00 p.m., in the theater of the Multicines Atlántida, the folkloric show entitled ‘Lanzarote’ will be presented, performed in tribute to César Manrique in the framework of the centenary of his birth.

‘Lanzaroteño’ is a music and dance show, conceived and organized by Miguel Ángel Corujo and produced by the FCM, whose staging will revolve around three of the island’s most representative groups: the Acatife Popular Music Group, the Parranda Los Toledo and Los Campesinos Traditional Music and Dance group. Entry is free until full.

The three groups will interpret a large repertoire of the most recognized folkloric genres: from the party to the popular music, renewed from the tradition, and they will do it accompanied by the dance and the voices of outstanding soloists: Almudena Hernández, Marilina Cabrera, Nieves Nieves and Beni Ferrer. The voice of Benito Cabrera, musician and great connoisseur of the traditions of the islands, will be the main thread of this show in memory of César Manrique.
