‘Lanzaroteño’ is a music and dance show that draws on Lanzarote’s own traditions, tracing a broad and emotional journey through the most deeply rooted folklore of the island; an embrace of traditions, part of our identity, in homage to César Manrique in the year of his centenary.

The staging will revolve around three groups of the most representative of the island, which will perform a large repertoire of the most recognized folk genres: from the party to popular and traditional music, renewed from the tradition, and accompanied by dance and the voices of leading soloists. As a common thread, the voice of Benito Cabrera, musician and great connoisseur of the traditions of the islands; as background, a visual memory in memory of César Manrique.

The participants of the show will be the Acatife Popular Music Group, the Los Toledo Parranda and the Los Campesinos Traditional Music and Dance Group. As soloists, Almudena Hernández, Marilina Cabrera, Nieves Nieves and Beni Ferrer will perform. And as the conductor of the act, Benito Cabrera.

The appointment will be next July 27 at 9:00 pm at the Atlántida Theater.
Admission is free, although the capacity is limited.
