Big Band of the Canary Islands + Gerardo Nuñez – Concert

The Big Band of the Canary Islands was always interested in the flamenco world, a complex world from the rhythmic and harmonic point of view, and also a world with a lot of character, a lot of emotion and a lot of elf.

There are many international artists who are interested in this exclusive world, especially in the US and Japan, although today we could say that this music is demanded throughout the globe and also, of course, their dance. Flamenco is the most important root of Spanish music and there have not been too many experiences of big bands making this music, therefore they are considered researchers and precursors in this aspect.

Being able to perform a concert with one of the few flamenco concert performers is a real challenge for the BBDC. Gerardo Núñez is what he is for his impressive touch and for his inexhaustible creative inventiveness, aspects that have earned him the respect and admiration of artists and audiences.
